Dear Grove Families,
Thank you for your continued support of the Grove school throughout this year. As we approach the end of the 2020-2021 school year we have an opportunity to return to in person instruction.
On Monday, April 5, the Governing Board considered new revised return to in person instruction plan and elected to postpone a vote until families expressed their intent to attend in-person instruction or remain on 100% distance learning.
This revised plan reflects the CDC’s March 19th recommendations for 3 foot distancing within schools. This revised plan includes the implementation of several safety measures, as well as directives and guidance from state and local public health agencies (i.e. face coverings, social distancing) outlined in the Grove School Safety Plan.
This model offers two programs:
1. 100% distance learning program with two options for schedule, dependent on the number of students that elect for in-person instruction.
2. A hybrid program with in person instruction (number of days on campus dependent on number of students who choose IPI).

Both programs will offer the same curriculum through students’ currently scheduled classes. All families are asked to select a program for their student(s) through a Google survey. Responses are due Friday, April 9 at 10am. Actions voted on by the board on Friday will consider and be dependent on the number of families that elect to come to in-person learning.
The Board will be holding a special meeting on Friday, April 9 at 6pm to review and vote on the plan, following the completion of the survey indicating the choice of attendance by families.
